About

The Story

Gaia's Loom is an independent fashion platform built around one simple idea — that making better choices with your wardrobe should be easy, accessible, and most importantly fashionable.

My aim is to make conscious shopping more accessible and more of a priority. Because better materials already exist — I just help you find them.

My motto is simple: buy less — but if you do buy new, buy better. I understand we're all human, and that changing habits can be hard. With Gaia's Loom, I hope to close the gap between the people who want to buy better clothes, and the people who actually do.

My story starts with being vegan, loving to express myself through fashion, but also being conscious of the planet. In practice, that mainly eliminates polyester and wool from my wardrobe. Without those two, you're left with some genuinely lovely natural-material options — but often at a higher price, and sometimes without the same variety of design you'd find on the high street.

That's why I created Gaia's Loom. At first, mainly for myself — so I could have a quicker, easier overview of nice-looking, better-made options. But I'm sure I'm not the only person who runs into this problem. Shopping consciously on the high street is genuinely difficult — reading labels on every top, every bottom, checking composition, hunting for certifications. Even online, most high street retailers make it hard to shop for natural materials with any real ease.

So I built Gaia's Loom to make that easier, for you and for me.

Conscious shopping doesn't have to mean spending more, hunting down niche brands, or shopping somewhere unfamiliar. It starts with something simple: knowing what your clothes are actually made from.

If I can combine what I care about with what I love doing creatively — while helping others and the planet at the same time — I think that's a win.

My Values

Materials first.

Every recommendation starts with what something is made from — not how it looks or what it costs. Appearance definitely comes second, though! ;)

For everyone.

Better fashion should be for everyone. I cover both accessible, affordable high street pieces and more premium options — so there's something here whatever your budget.

Full transparency.

I disclose affiliate relationships clearly, and my standards are published for anyone to see. Nothing is hidden. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to get in touch.
